Artist Statement

A mathematician studies patterns and shows you with numbers. A poet studies patterns and shows you with words. I study patterns and then I paint them. I just happened to be a painter because my math ain’t too good and I can’t sing.

I hope my paintings inspire you,

I hope they make you awe,

I hope that I walk on the shoulder of giants,

And with one stroke, I hope to make them fall.

I named my debut collection after Alexander Moriarty. He’s why I started painting. And he’s why I will be great at it.
